Ramadan is the ninth month of the Islamic calendar which is based on the moon’s journey through the skies. As you may know, Muslims spend 30 days communing with their family and friends.
It was a very different world for Ramadan 2020. Covid-19 took away our liberty, mosques were closed, and prayers were offered from home with immediate family only. Let’s hope the world is a better and healthier place in 2021. Ramadan dates (depending on sighting of the moon) for 2021: 12th April – 11th May.
Ramadan Dubai is an initiative by the Islamic Affairs & Charitable Activities Department to involve and inspire all societies, nationalities and religions. Interactive programs, exhibitions and workshops are organised throughout the 30 days and everyone is welcome.
We are always delighted to give our support to Ramadan Dubai.
There are so many different areas in Dubai.
Area names can change frequently – this is a view to TECOM, recently re-named Barsha Heights.
