Welcome to Dubai! World Tolerance Summit
This is the 2nd World Tolerance Summit and will be held in the Madinat Jumeirah Conference & Events Centre, Dubai.
We all know that the world could be a better place with more tolerant individuals, societies and countries. Putting across their various thoughts and discussing the social, economic and humane benefits of a more accepting world, the summit gathers men, women and young people worldwide to discuss how the world can counter racism, xenophobia, extremes in nationalism, religious fanaticism and social exclusion and discrimination.
This is more than just words!
The 2nd World Tolerance Summit will hear from 45 speakers,
Over 105 countries are attending and, to date, just under 2,000 people are registered to attend in person, however, Tolerance Tube will ensure that those who cannot attend, for whatever reason, can communicate with summit speakers by asking their own questions and listening to discussions during the summit.
Students can get involved in the Tolerance Decathlon. Their creativity may well help develop the World Tolerance Summit into a global showcase for amazing ideas and art forms as well as get involved with many different people from across a global network. In Dubai, with just under 200 nationalities living and working here, everyone gets a chance to mix with and develop strong relationships with people from every nationality.
